Finances and The Church

herbFor the last three Thursday evenings, we have been holding special meetings called, Finances; Pray or Panic. One of the greatest shifts toward Kingdom operation rather than letting the world train you in economics and finances is how we react to downturns and tough times.

Mark 11:23 and 24 tells us to speak to the mountain to be gone and cast into the see. The mountains are our troubled situations, tough circumstances and problems. The world’s way is to complain about the mountain and demand that someone solve your problems. We have had nothing but this hammered into our minds all through the election. Big government, “I beg you to solve my problems” is not the answer for us. God is not interested in you complaining and begging. He already knows your problems. God is waiting to see how you react to the problems. Are you going to speak about the mountain (problem) or are you going to speak to that mountain (problem) to be gone and out of here.

God loves His children to speak faith and not fall into the trap of complaining. THIS IS AN AWESOME TIME TO HAVE GOD SHOW UP ON THE SCENE FOR YOU.

He is the one who can actually “BRING CHANGE.”  “YES HE CAN”

Preach it Pastor! I am ready for Him to move in our lives!!! We are going forward not backward.

  2. Billy Schoff Says:

Pastor this is so true we need God more than ever!!!! And he wants us to have faith that he is in charge.

  3. I believe the sooner we ask for the solution to our problems from God we will receive it. I also am guilty of getting caught up in the doom and gloom and speaking about it instead of at it.
Like an approaching Hurricane we can spend our time worrying about whether or not its going to hit, getting ready for it too hit,or praying it doesn’t hit.
