TEXAS REVIVAL – INDIANA – ACTS 6
re⋅viv⋅al
There is a reported Revival happening in Apartm’t 1314 of Winding Creek Apartments located at 13121 N.W. Miliatry Highway, San Antonio, Texas. I have found the definition of revival at dictionary.com is as follows:
1. Restoration to life, consciousness, vigor , strength
2. Restoration to use and acceptance
3. To have an awakening
4. the act of reviving or state of being revived
Also the synonyms are rebirth, renewal, resurrection, comeback, restoration, recovery, cheering.
Since this decribes what is happening to us here in Texas, I decided to declare a revival. I’m listening to what God has to say. Slowing my life down in order to hear. Dealing with the ugly and building upon the awesome. Since I’m ganing life;, consciousness, vigor and strength along with restoration, renewal, recovery, it puts me into cheering.
I’m so excited about how the service went Sunday plus being excited about Heath’s input for the next three week services. It is so helpful to have good support. The best leaders have developed people that can run the organization in their absence as well as in the presence. Keep up the good works. Pray for this Texas Revival that it has fruit and the fruit might last

FAMILY AND CRAZY ACTS OF KINDNESS

Pastor Herb & Sandy
As many of you might know, we are in San Antonio with our family. This is the first time we have had everybody together for 7 years. Lee Anne, her husband Gene, and their two boys, Shane (15), Shepherd (6), Amy, her husband Don, and their daughter Taylor (13) and son Evan (12) live in San Antonio. Sandy’s passport fiasco enabled us to use the airfare to fly Heath, Misti and their son Hagin (10) and their daughter Mia (1 ½) to join us here for the first week in January. Yes, we are having a blast; going to River Walk, seeing the Alamo, riding motorcycles, eating like there is no tomorrow, and watching Bowl games on Don’s 60 inch, yes 60 inch TV.
Here is the crazy acts. Driving to San Antonio from Plymouth is 22-24 hours of hard driving pulling two bikes and driving two vehicles. We wanted to deliver a truck to our friend Howard Hickman so Sandy drove the pickup and I drove the van with the bikes. OUR GIRLS, thought that was to much for us to drive. Lee Anne had air miles that were to expire by January 9 so they decide to fly and intercept us half way in Little Rock, Arkansas. We chose a hotel by the airport to meet Monday night. We settled in about 5 PM. They got in about 8. Everybody slept like babies and wow we were of at 8 in the morning. I rode, not drove, in the van. Amy drove with Sandy in Howard’s awesome truck.
When I felt sleepy, instead of fighting it, I said, ” Good night Lee Anne” and took a nap. WOW. Two crazy daughters, two free airline tickets and being chauffeured 12 hours to your vacation destiny.
Thank you girls. Thank you God for keeping our family together for these 44 years.
