“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God. (Acts 18:9-11)

Christina & Becky thanks for the encouraging words. Christina it was great meeting you in person Sunday.

I tell people that my job description is simply to love people & tell them the truth. I can’t do one without the other. I think this is actually the job description for every Christian.

The battle is real. Our greatest weapon is LOVE. Our message is to powerful to be silenced.

Truly loving people doesn’t mean we have to be silent. While arguments seldom solve conflicts, speaking the truth in love does work. How will anyone know the truth if we are silent. THE SILENT MAJORITY NEEDS TO BECOME THE VOCAL MAJORITY. This can be done without anger and frustration.

Read the Gospels. Jesus was very loving yet He was very confortational. He is our best example when to be silent and when to use your voice to bring the truth.

Yes, Chris, thank you for taking a stand. I really don’t understand the indifference in the Lord’s people. I don’t really think it’s fear. People will take a stand for their favorite team, their favorite movie, but maybe we have been so indifferent to the Lord lately we CAN’T take a stand because we aren’t able to be authentic in it.

YET have you noticed the pseudo’s are real quick to jump on? Attackers are bold. It is easy to attack.

May those who call themselves the Church walk as deep as we think we do. We need to have the will to give the “ready answer”, with the perseverance to follow through on it.

After reading your comment and looking at your blog, I’m really confused. Am I not even allowed a political view? Homosexuality was not even mentioned. I see that you are a Brit and I am an American. I’m sure that I get distorted views on British politics and I think you have gotten some distorted views on American politics. One thing I like is freedom of speech. I may not post all your comments but would enjoy to hear of your views. Do you have any expression of any faith or belief system?

By the way, I do get a haircut but I’m rather bald. I don’t read horoscopes. I don’t have a tattoo. And I prefer natural cotton over synthetics.

And the bigoted church has the nerve to focus all it’s energy on homosexuality? Christianity shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near Politics.
