GREAT A1:8 CONFERENCE

A18 Banquet

A18 Banquet

There was 182 adults and 40-50 children at the Banquet and Missions conference at Winamac last night.  Grace International Ministries, our parent organization, and Church of the heartland has always been missions minded but last night was awesome.

Great food from many nations to taste as soon as you walk in the door.  People in foreign dress were there to greet you.  There were several tables full of things from all Continent except Antartica.   After one great free catered meal, we worshipped under a strong anointing.

Wow, a $4200 offering and many $18 per month pledges came from such a great group of Heartlanders.

GOD MUST BE PLEASED WITH YOUR UNSELFISHNESS AND GIVING.

Thank you Heartlanders.  You are the best

A1:8 Conference

What excitement is coming to Winamac Campus November 23rd? It is the A1:8 Mission Conference. It is based on Acts 1:8 (“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”) Jerusalem was their local city. This represents our own church or campus. Judea and Samaria is the region. For us our region is Northern Indiana. Then the ends of the earth represents our foreign missions.

We have Christian work going on among the Gypsies in Hungry and Ukraine. Our churches support many children in Uganda. They are given one good meal, an education, and school uniform. This is thorough Richard Kayaa work in Entebbe.

Working with Williams Beshiishi, we are training over 100 pastors every years. Scores of churches are started every year.

Radovan Bogdanovic is our point man in Belgrade, Serbia. This use to be the capitol of Yugoslavia.

Come and enjoy ethic food, wild stories, and enjoy what God is doing outside of the USA.  Check out this link to the A:1 Project Blog.

A1:8 Conference, November 23. 5:00 PM. See you there

MORE ON LAKELAND REVIVAL

Posted in Church Events on August 26, 2008 by cothplymouth
Sunday I shared about maturity and helping others by teaching what we have learned. Hebrews 5:11-14 shows us that maturity comes from rightly dividing the Word. Verse 14 encourages us to discern both good and evil by allowing the Word and our inner spirit to let us know when things are right or wrong spiritually. My spirit would not let me participate in the Lakeland Revival but I had nothing else to go by except discernment As things unfolded in the revival at Lakeland, Florida, many of the things that were being taught and were believed became red flags to me. Things like talking to Paul and Abraham in heaven, exalting of William Branham (a fallen evangelist of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s), and self-promotion. Yet many people were truly getting saved and healed in Lakeland. God honors His Word and therefore the faith of the people brought about great works.

NOW THE GOOD NEWS. The revival has been taken over by the local pastor, Steve Strader and an apostolic team to oversee the work. They are calling the first revival Lakeland I. They have moved from the tent into the church sanctuary. People have packed out the church every night this week. The salvations and healings have continued but with purity and righteousness. They are calling this revival, Lakeland II. Praise God that this was exposed and corrected not destroyed.

We Charismatics need to quit believing that the anointing gives license to cover up sin. We need to stop “Swallow and Follow” and realize that revival comes from repentance. Thank God for awesome revivals that flow from holiness and purity.

Let me know what you think.

Thank all you who labored all day and late nights; teachers, students, contruction workers, and helpers.  Wow, we pulled it off.  The rooms look awesome.   So cool that I almost want to go back to high school (Star City class of 62).  Great teachers, awesome curriculum, great facilities, and the best students ever.  FCS congratulations.

Come and check it out.
